Invictus Games: Day One Wrap Up

The Invictus Games Sydney 2018 are underway.

The New Zealand team arrived yesterday and have been meeting fellow competitors from around the globe, as well as renewing acquaintances from previous games.

Competition kicked off this morning with golfers PJ Harimate, Craig Wilson and Darren O’Callaghan taking part in the Golf Open at the New South Wales Golf Club.

While they were doing that our sailors were getting in some practice on beautiful Sydney Harbour.

Back at Sydney Olympic Park our rowers got some tips from the master, double Olympic gold medal rower Eric Murray.

The sailors out and about training on Sydney Harbour.

The whole team will head for the Sydney Opera House in the evening for the Opening Ceremony with Prince Harry.
